Where to apply for jobs abroad?

This is the first question a job seeker always asks. And that’s probably the first task he should try to find for an answer. The usual problem however is the job-seeker’s lack of initiative in finding for that answer. For those who are making Facebook or Yahoo! as part of their daily chores, they have more the opportunities in finding the best job and the best company to apply with. But for those who seldom visit the internet or have never tried browsing it, there is the missing-link in their lives where to find the huge array of jobs they are looking for. And that’s most likely another thing they should be aware of and be updated with: of the surge of internet use or the so-called “information technology” in this era of online information.

For those who are with all mod cons on how to use the internet in hunting for their dream jobs, they can just browse the right homepage and make a pick of their choices. One site I’m sure to recommend is the POEA website. The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is the sole government agency given the task to provide an updated list of licensed recruitment agencies and job vacancies abroad. Its central office of operations is located at Blas F. Ople Building, Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. All job offerings posted on the POEA website are valid and legal, and therefore reliable. However, it is better to check their dates of posting to be sure of your next moves. Only those recruitment agencies posted with valid or unexpired licenses are allowed to recruit, otherwise, you will be a victim of illegal recruitment. Check the POEA website for job posting updates and apply either online or in personal. Never entrust your applications and fees with a third person called “recruiter” to ensure of your flight for job abroad in the near future. Remember, all recruitment agencies licensed under POEA or all job orders from POEA are free of charged and therefore you should not pay more than what is required. For more information on this, you can email POEA at mailto:info@poea.gov.ph..

There are other websites you can also visit which yield results on job vacancies abroad. Try visit JobsOnline, SelectOnLineJobs or OzFreeOnline and register for free. For sure, you will not be frustrated with your quest for that job you are dreaming of. It’s only a matter of perseverance and putting more efforts to your usual ways of hunting. Who knows, your next post might be just a click away.
